This was an incredible class! Simon was a stellar teacher. Nothing pleases me more than a teacher willing to take the time to get into the details as to why things work the way they do, why they're done that way, and what that looks like in the real world. I also greatly appreciate the balance of expressing strong opinions on how things should be done and discussing other popular opinions, talking about the merits and drawbacks of each.
This class was the perfect introduction to everything you would need to know before walking behind the counter of any local café. Instead of a one-sided lecture, we had the perfect balance of guided instruction with hands-on practice, allowing us to immediately apply what we learned as we learned it. Better still was Simon's ability to adapt his instruction according to the type of learner you are. I walked away knowing how to brew a good espresso as well as a renewed respect for latte art. Who knew that managing milk and its foam could be so complex!
10 Stars Recommendation! I didn't expect that much, but I learned a lot in the end! Trainer Simon is very experienced. He gives every detailed explanations about coffee, the use and even the cleaning of various coffee machines, and answers all kinds of questions I raised. If you want to start looking for a job as a barista, or just want to learn how coffee and coffee machines work, don't hesitate to make an appointment! （Why does it feel like I work for them🤣）
